The Clubhouse was built around 1830 as a private residence, in the early 20th century it became a Girls school and then a Red Cross hospital at the end of 1914. The Clubhouse was extended to coincide with the Clubs Centenary in 1997.
The Clubhouse was devestated by floods in 2007/8, but after major refurbishment it now provides some excellent facilities, including on the first floor a lounge bar and dining room, balcony overlooking the 1st tee and 9th green, meeting room and modern kitchen; on the ground floor, a comfortable spike bar and snooker room, Ladies and Gents locker rooms, offices and Professional shop.

Dining room, can be used for small groups or parties of 50 - 60, with the option of opening out into the lounge area to accommodate upto 100 people.
The layout of the dining room can be altered to accommodate tables for
between 2 and 10 people or long tables for up to 40 guests

The lounge provides for comfortable seating where lite snacks and drinks can be consumed whilst looking out over the golf course
