We are a friendly members club, where you can enjoy either social or competitive golf, and also the friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse.
Welcome to our esteemed golf club! We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to both our current members and those considering joining. While our club’s primary focus is golf, we take pride in being more than just a golf club.
Our club is home to a diverse group of members, and we are particularly proud of the success of some of our members who have represented our country and even won events on the DP World Tour.
However, our club is more than just about individual achievements. It is about fostering a supportive community where everyone feels welcome and can enjoy the game of golf together.
We invite both our current members and prospective members to join us on the course and at our social events and be a part of our vibrant community. We look forward to welcoming you to our club and sharing our love for golf with you.
Iain Milroy
Club Captain
Welcome from Margaret Wood, Ladies Captain 2024.
As Lady Captain 2024, I’m pleased to extend a very warm welcome to our friendly and forward looking club.
Droitwich is a club with a long history, founded in 1897 with women amongst our founder members. We are proud of our traditions but enthusiastic for our future with all members continuing to be involved in the development and growth of the club.
I have been a member at Droitwich for fourteen years and thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the club. We have a beautiful course which is improving all the time and golf is a great way of keeping physically and mentally fit. Playing golf is just a part of being a member here though and we offer excellent social events alongside many opportunities to make and cement long lasting friendships.
I am privileged to be Lady Captain of our prestigious club this year and I do hope you will come and join us as a member, for an event or just to enjoy a round of golf.

DROITWICH JUNIOR SECTION
Droitwich Golf Club has approximately thirty junior members aged between 7 and 18 with handicaps ranging from scratch players to those learning with a 54 handicap, we are also delighted to have some juniors who are just learning how to play and enjoy golf. We are proud to be a “SafeGolf” Golf Club which shows our commitment to maintaining and improving Junior Golf in a safe environment at the club.
We currently offer two levels of membership for juniors; one for those learning how to play the game and the other for those with handicaps. Once our juniors reach the age of 18 there are staggered charging levels up to 39 years of age when the full membership levy is charged! Details of these can be obtained from the Club Manager – see contact details below.
The Junior Section holds a series of competitions and events throughout the season, including monthly Medals and Stablefords, both 18 and 9 hole (which are mainly held on a Sunday so that school sports can take a priority), Scramble events, Girls Events, Fun Skill Challenges, Match Play Singles and Pairs Knock Out’s and a Junior Day (including the Junior Championship held in the summer holidays). We are also planning to hold friendly matches arranged against other clubs in the county. This year we are planning to start a social calendar for all the juniors. In 2023 the we were part of the Girls Golf Rocks programme organised by England Golf which resulted in a small number of girls joining our coaching programme – if you are interested in a girls only coaching please do get in touch with our Professional – Phil Cundy.
The Club holds a major prestigious Junior Open Competition held every year for boys and girls, which will be played this year on Friday 5th April 2024. The competition is both Daily Telegraph Qualifier and Worcestershire Order of Merit participant for both the boys and girls. This event is very popular and attracts a large number of junior golfers from both within Worcestershire and elsewhere in the country.
The Junior Section provides regular group coaching with our PGA Professional Staff at discounted rates for junior members and those juniors wishing to take up the game. Coaching with our professional staff can either be on a group basis or one to one.
